That's the reason why I'm lost. We have been celebrating that my parents in love are visiting us and my hubby birthday. Here is the story:

I want to share the progress in our family room make over. It has been harder than I tough because of the wood paneling we have in that room. It takes triple the time than to paint a regular wall. I have to go over the wall one time with the roller and then came back with a paint brush to cover all the irregularities of the wood.

The first step was to put the primer and then I started to add the color to one of the walls. I almost finish with that wall when my hubby come back from work. As soon as he saw it, he said he did not like it. Bummer!!!

So we started looking for other color and we choose a turquoise, called Mermaid Treasure, combined with a blue, called Embellished Blue.

I just finished applying the first coat of the turquoise and is looking beeeaaaauuutiful!

Here are some pictures of the before, sorry they are a little blurry.

And here is the "to do" list for when we finish with the paint.

- look for a color for the furniture
- sand and paint the furniture
- clean everything
- organize furniture
- look for vintage fabric to make curtains and pillows
- print pictures for the frames
- light fixtures
- finish decorating

Well that's all I have for today. Now I'm off to work as you can see the to do list is long.

I want to share this pictures my daughter, Serena, took of herself & by herself. I love, love, love them!!! For me they capture her personality in all its variations. The sweet, the funky, the funny and the pre-adolescent (this is the scary one) She is growing so fast and that is what scary me the most, what the future will bring her way. I hope she conserve that clear, honest and sweet look that I can see in her eyes. I wish for her to have always that big smile of her. I love her and I am really scare because she is not my baby girl anymore.

I love you Serena and I always will not mater what!!!

Now I want to show you a sneak peak of the accessories I am preparing for the 4Th of July. Some will be headbands, hair clips, brooches and pony tails.

A little of this...and a little of that...

Many things are going on at our home. We are preparing our home to receive my parents in law next week. That means:
- Cleaning everywhere
- Organizing everywhere
- Redecorating some rooms in the house
- and the big project of painting and rearranging furniture in the family room

Update on that project: we had a lot of work with this room. The walls were really in bad shape, so we have to sand them and fix it. I have almost finish with the primer and then the walls will we ready for the make over. Of course my head is of new things to make for the decoration. I promise to take some picture today for the before and of course I will show you the after.

Today is a sad day for the Latin community that likes poetry. Today Mario Benedetti had day. He was considered one of Latin America's most important 20th-century writers. You can fin more information about him here.

I remember in my teens years, I use to read his books all the time and had a journal with all his poems. When I felt sad because of some boyfriend or very happy because I was in love, I always read his poems.

I try my best to translate his poems to English, I hope I did well. But I will post the Spanish version because they have more meaning for me.

Mother's Day Countdown #4

Today in my gift list is a gorgeous necklace from Pink Pear Designs. As it says in the shop announcement "it's jewelery inspired by romance". I can add that you can feel attracted for her great picture and perfectly hand crafted products. I love this necklace and the name of it. Lovely!

He Brought Her Flowers For No Reason

This week my hubby has been away and I have the opportunity to watch those romantic comedies that he doesn't like so much. I am enjoying my sobredosis of laughing and crying. ;)

The first one on my list was "Bride Wars" I really love Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. I think they both are very good actresses. There are many parts that are my favorites but the best one is when Kate found out her hair is BLUE. This movie was really fun to watch.

The second one we watched was Marley & Me. Beautiful movie. This one made me cry like crazy but make me think too. My daughters ask me to get a dog all the time and I always says no.
When I finished watching this movie I though that I was right. When I was a child, I had all kind of pets at home. And when them die I felt horrible. And I don't want my girls to feel that bad.
But then as I was thinking about the movie I realize that the best part of the movie were about all the years that they have fun with Marley or the times were him make them feel better just with looking at them or moving his tail.
So we'll see what is going to happen in the future.

Good morning friends! Well not so good right now for me :( I have a terrible headache. It is 10 am and I already need a nap, yep.

Today countdown #3 is one of my obsessions, PURSES. Yes, I love purses in all the styles, color and sizes available. This clutch is from Kimberly Jones Designs. Mother's Day Countdown #2

I love to take long bath from time to time and when I do it I tend to use every cream I have. I usually do a mask for my hair, a mask for my face & a mask for my feet. But I always love the sensation of polishing your body, for me it's very relaxing and when I finish my skin feels so clean, soft and smells good. What else could you ask for?

Mother's Day Countdown #1

As we are a week away from Mother's Day, I have decided to do a gift guide countdown with some of my favorites (I hope hubby see my subliminal list, ja ;])

This weekend I was dedicated to clean my front yard. I cut the grass, cleaned the weeds and plant some new flowers. While I was working my daughters were riding their bikes and playing outside. That was when I heard they calling me and saying "look what we found"

S & F are in love with this baby rabbits and go were they left them to check how they are doing all the time. This is one of the things I love about my neighborhood. It is full of wild animal, raccoons, ducks, birds, rabbits, possums, hawks, and many more. And my daughters can grow enjoying the nature around us.

How are you? I have been a little lazy blogger this week. It is like I couldn't find something to write about. It is really hard to feel inspired after a week of rain :( and today is raining again! Today I feel a little better as I woke up to some new orders in my shop. It seems that it was what I needed to feel better.

I have been working in some wholesale orders and some new designs for my shop. As soon as I finish them I will share some pictures and tell you were you can find them.

A friend of mine ask me to do a headband for her daughter, Rafaela, and it come out beautiful. Here is a picture of it... what do you think?

I start a new book yesterday. It is called "the book thief", I am reading a Spanish version but that is the tittle in English. My friend, A, red it and says is a very sad but good book. I"ll see.

I am so happy because I found out that a book I red Is been made into a movie. I loved this book and finished it crying. It is called "My sister's keeper" from Judi Picoult. I can't wait to see it.

And there is another movie that I am waiting to see as soon as it is in the theaters: "Fame"
This was my favorite series from my childhood. I remember I come back running from my dance class to see it and never miss one.

I am very sorry that I miss the date of my giveaway but I had been really busy with my girls on spring break. Here you can see what we have been up to during this week.

Friday: Dinner at home with friends

Tuesday: working and I took S & F to see Hanna Montana the movie
Wednesday: working & hair saloon day. S & F got a new hair cut
Thursday: working, shipping orders. Picnic at the park with friends. Marriage class. Girls sleepover.
Friday: working. F was all day with her friend and then S brig her friend and played outside
Saturday: Long talk with hubby. Picnic at the park. Shopping clothes for the girls. Watch "Bed time stories". Girls sleepover at home.
Sunday: Screaming, jumping, running, singing, dancing, playing truth or dare & repeat all again. Preparing things for going back to school.

I finished my Spring break more tired than how I started, but my girls have lots of fun. That's more important!

New Headband

Last week I score some wholesale orders. I have been working in them, here you can see some of the clips I have to finish. It is a lot of work but it is worth it.

And here is one of my new addition for my shop. This headband is called Elena. It is made out of wool blend felt and is totally handmade. Deep violet and turquoise make it a fashionable accessory.

I hope everyone had a great Easter. Mine was very nice, I had a weekend full of friends, great conversations and good food.

This evening I will be uploading some new headbands in my shop. Here is a sneak peek to one of them.

Addison Headband

Brazilian Style Flan

This recipe was given to me by my friend Alessandra and is a Brazilian style flan.

Ingredients
for the flan
1 can (12 fl. oz.) Evaporated Milk
1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
I used the low fat versions of both
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 garnish of fresh fruit, (optional)
For the caramel
250gr. sugar
2 tablespoons water

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 325° F.

I make my caramel in the microwave, it is so much easier this way. Mix the sugar with the spoons of water in a safe microwave bowl. Put it in high for 5' and continue doing it until you reach that brownish color. Quickly pour onto bottom of deep-dish 9-inch pie plate; swirl around bottom and sides to coat. Be very careful with this step. Let it dry.

Combine evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk, eggs and vanilla extract in medium bowl. Pour into prepared pie plate. Place pie plate in large roasting pan; fill roasting pan with warm water to about 1-inch depth.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Remove flan from water. Cool on wire rack. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Run small spatula around edge of pie plate. Invert serving plate over pie plate. Turn over; shake gently to release. Caramelized sugar forms sauce. Garnish with fruit as desired.

I like to serve my flan with homemade whipped cream. Mmmm.... ;)

1 pint heavy whipping cream
4 tablespoons sugar
vanilla extract

You have to put the metal bowl of the mixer in the freezer for a while before start making the whipping cream.
After this step, put all ingredients into the bowl and begin to beat in the faster cycle of the mixer.
The cream is ready when it is seen that the mixer leaves like tracks.

Serve together with the flan or with fruit.

I hope you like and try to do this flan, it is really delicious.

We will never forget

Today is commemorated in Argentina on Veterans and the Fallen in the Malvinas War Day. This is a very sad time for our country and is a date which must not be forgotten ever.
In these war young kids 18 years old were sent to fight. They had neither weapons nor clothes, nor the knowledge necessary to deal with England. It was a total madness!
My memories of this war are that I was in third grade and the teachers had us write letters to soldiers and usually buy chocolates to send along with the cards. The teachers gathered around and gave them to the government to send them to the soldiers.
When this war ended with the outcome already known, over time the Argentine people knew that all letters and all the donations were left in warehouses and never reached the hands of soldiers.
This is just one of the things we learned there are many more things that went and are still going on.
These is my humble tribute to and remember the veterans of the Malvinas, which hurt us so much, but still have not give the veterans such well-deserved tribute.

Argentina is mourning

I am not a very political person but yesterday in my country, Argentina, died Raul Alfonsin. He was the first president after the military governments that we had at the time.

I had 11 years and of course I remember everything that happened, the publicity and the celebration when he assumed the presidency but most of all I remember my father’s happiness.

A new democracy and the most important promise: human rights, after decades of violence and terror.

One of the milestones of his presidency was the Trial of the Juntas, prosecuting some of the top members of the previous military regime for crimes committed during the Dirty War (refers to the state-sponsored violence against Argentine. By the late sixties and early seventies, regular citizens and police officers that were against the government were being kidnapped, tortured and killed by leftist terrorist actions almost weekly. Pregnant women were kept in captivity. They were tortured while waiting for their babies to be born. After the birth, the babies were kidnapped and the mothers were killed. This trial finished with the most terrible presidents Argentina had in prison.

May be I do not have to speak about politics in here but this is a tribute to my father who was a radical from heart.

This was one of the propaganda from the campaign.

Hello! Hello! Hello!
How was your weekend? Mine was fine but with snow, could you believe it? Well, if were are talking about weather, everything is possible in Chicago. But today it is a beautiful day and the snow has almost melted away. Great!

On Saturday we adhere to Vote for Earth Hour, and at 8:30 I lighted all my candles and we enjoy ourselves playing Uno attack. The hour went really, really fast and we even stay with the light off for a least 15' after 9:30

This is a paper mache mini journal. I made the cover from a very soft wool blend felt. This cover is removable and can be used in other mini journal.

Vote Earth

This is a really important thing to do. It is a great way to teach to our children to be conscious about the problems our planet is facing. If you already are trying ways to be more responsible and help our Earth to be healthy, this is one more step for us became more involved.

This is what I will do:
tomorrow from 8:30 to 9:30 I will shut down all my home's light, TVs, etc. I will light some candles and have a " candle light family game night" Beautiful!!! My daughters will be so excited.
And I promise to take some picture to share later on.

Here is a little of history on how this movement started:
Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

From my kitchen to yours

Finally I have enough time to write and translate my recipes. It was hard to write it down, because is one of those things you do almost without thinking, but here they are:

Ham & Cheese Quiche

2 chopped onion
1/2 chopped red pepper
2-3 chopped cloves of garlic
6 chopped slices of ham
1/2 lb of mozzarella cheese
2 spoon of Parmesan cheese
salt
pepper
parsley
olive oil
1 pie crust
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl whisk the egg. Pierce the pie crust with a fork and then brush it with the egg. Put it in the oven floor until it gets a gold. Take it out and let it rest.
While the crust is cooking, soute the onions, pepper and garlic with a little of olive oil in a skillet. When the onion gets transparent take it out of the fire. Put it in a mixing bowl with the rest of the ingredients, season and mix it very well, then transfer it to the pie crust.
Put the pie in the oven and when the cheese is melted is it ready. Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 10'

Tuna Quiche

3 cans of tuna in water
1 chopped onion
1 chopped red pepper
2 chopped cloves garlic
2 chopped hard boiled eggs
12 chopped green olives
Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil
1 Pie crust
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl whisk the egg. Pierce the pie crust with a fork and then brush it with the egg. Put it in the oven floor until it gets a gold. Take it out and let it rest.

While the crust is cooking, in a pan put a little of olive oil and sauté the onions, garlic and peppers and season it with salt and pepper. Cook 2 minutes and add the drained tuna cook 2 more minutes and reserve. Transfer the mix to a mixing bowl and add the rest of the ingredients (eggs, olives) mix it very well and pour the filling over the dough, and cook in the oven for 40'. Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 10'

I hope you like these recipes and try them out. They are really good and is a great food for kids. At least my daughters love them. I always have to do an extra one so they can take some for lunch at school the next day.

4 favorite books

Ann of green Gables (teen time) from L.M. Montgomery
I really, really love all the Ann books. They are so inspiring and I love Ann. I have my old books all safe at my mom's home in Argentina The house of the spirits/ La casa de los espiritus from Isabel Allende
This is a great book and a fabulous movie. Each character is beautifully descripted. It is a book that once you started reading it you can not stop, and when you get to the end you want to start reading it again. Love it!!!
Shopaholic book series (fun, fun, fun) from Shopie Kinsella
I just have one book from this series to read. Each one of them is full of very fun and great "shopping adventures"
My sister's keeper/ Por la vida de mi hermana drom Judi Picoult
It was the first book I read from Judi Picoult, and now I have all of her books in my "list to read"
I was so submerged in the story that I did not want to finish it, and when I did I was crying. Great read!!!

Finally some of the new design made it to my "Sassy Owl". It was so hard to make the update in a schedule time and day. You have to plan it very well and start working many days before.

First: taking the pictures, make a set to take them, prepare the product, uploading them, deciding which ones to use, editing and uploading them again to the computer.

Second: think and write a product description (for me this takes double time as English is my second language). This description, in my case, involve measuring of clips and headbands. Check, for the correct colors names. It takes long to get to the description I like and I feel it will be friendly for my costumers. Actually it involves more thinking that you will think, and i am usually coming back and editing it again and again.

Third: add the new product to your shop. Here is the most difficult of all, because you have to put a price on your product. This is a fight between everything you have put into making it and what will be affordable for your costumers. It is really hard because the time you put to create and the love you use to make it, does not have a price.

Fourth: This is hard too, WAIT FOR COSTUMERS TO BUY YOU CUTE PRODUCTS ;)

I hope you do not bored by my thoughts in "shop update" but I needed to say what I was thinking.

Hello, hello, hello
I was a little away from my computer because I was working in the new designs for my shop. And here is some eye candy...

In November of last year I was contacted trough Etsy by Elizabeth Hudson from Quick & Crafty magazine. Imagine my excitement when she ask me to send a pair of my clips for their upcoming February issue. I wanted to jump, hug and kiss her for liking my work.
I can assure you it has been a very loooong wait to see that it was true, but finally I got my copy in the mail.

Hi there! I have been working in some new designs wishing this new law goes away. But let's talk about happier things.

As parents and concerned citizens I’m sure most of us at one time or another have been confronted with the question of lead poisoning. But have you asked yourself what your government is doing to protect your children from lead contained in toys? The answer? They're banning toys, taking books from schools and libraries, hurting low income families, killing entrepreneurial spirit and risking putting the economy in an even greater depression than we've seen in decades. I'd like to introduce you to their solution: the CPSIA.

Do you know about the CPSIA? No? Then I ask you to take a few minutes to find out about it.

The CPSIA stands for Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, a new set of laws that will come into effect on 10 February, 2009 and will impact many, many people in a negative way. Make no mistake, this is very real. View it for yourself. If Forbes, the American Library Association and numerous other media are paying attention, perhaps you should too.

How will these new laws affect you? Well, here are a few examples:

To the Parents of Young Students:
Due to the new law, expect to see the cost of school supplies sky rocket. While those paper clips weren't originally intended for your student to use, they will need to be tested now that your 11-year-old needs them for his school project. This law applies to any and all school supplies (textbooks, pencils, crayons, paper, etc.) being used by children under 12.

To the Avid Reader:
Due to the new law, all children's books will be pulled from library and school shelves, as there is no exemption for them. That’s okay though, there's always television. Our children don’t need to learn the love of reading after all.

To the Lover of All Things Handmade:
Due to the new law, you will now be given a cotton ball and an instruction manual so you can make it yourself since that blanket you originally had your eye on for $50 will now cost you around $1,000 after it's passed testing. It won't even be the one-of-a-kind blanket you were hoping for. Items are destroyed in the testing process making one-of-a-kind items virtually impossible. So that gorgeous hand-knit hat you bought your child this past winter won’t be available next winter.

To the Environmentalist:
Due to the new law, all items in non-compliance will now be dumped into our already overflowing landfills. Imagine not just products from the small business owners, but the Big Box Stores as well. You can't sell it so you must toss it. Or be potentially sued for selling it. You can't even give them away. If you are caught, it is still a violation.

To the Second-Hand Shopper:
Due to the new law, you will now need to spend $20 for that brand new pair of jeans for your 2-year old, rather than shop at the Goodwill for second hand. Many resale shops are eliminating children's items all together to avoid future lawsuits.

To the Entrepreneur:
Due to this new law, you will be forced to adhere to strict testing of your unique products or discontinue to make and/or sell them. Small businesses will be likely to be unable to afford the cost of testing and be forced to close up shop. Due to the current economic state, you'll have to hope for the best when it comes to finding a new job in Corporate America.

To the Antique Toy Collector:
Due to the new law, you'd better start buying now because it's all going to private collection and will no longer be available to purchase. “Because the new rules apply retroactively, toys and clothes already on the shelf will have to be thrown out if they aren't certified as safe.” http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123189645948879745.html

To the American Economy:
Already struggling under an economy that hasn’t been this weak in decades, the American economy will be hit harder with the inevitable loss of jobs and revenues from suppliers, small businesses and consumers. The required testing is far too costly and restrictive for small businesses or individuals to undertake.

To the Worldwide Economy:
Due to this new law, many foreign manufacturers have already pulled out of the US market. You can imagine the impact of this on their businesses.

4 We have a -16 F that feels like -26. Could you believe it? Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, has been canceled. No school for two days, no after school programs. My car is not starting and the fridge is almost empty. I hope it changes in the next hours ;)

Today is my birthday!!!

Today I am turning 36 :o I can't believe it but is true. As always I'm going to celebrate with my family and friends. This is a special year because my mom is here visiting us from Argentina. It has been 3 years from the last time I celebrated a birthday with her. So this morning she woke me up with a sweet kiss (like moms give) and a very thoughtful card. It feels great to have her company and enjoy every moment with. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.

Happy Halloween!!!

How are you doing in this Halloween? I am so happy we have a really wonderful day here in Chicago. And Serena and Florencia could show their costumes as they are (usually you have to go trick or treating with a jacket on, so the costumer is not show :( but not today :)
My mom is visiting us form Argentina and she made the costumes. They are really beautiful and my mom has receive a lot of compliments. Serena is Red rinding hood and Florencia is Dorothy. Both of them look really adorable. I have lots of pictures but you'll have to wait a little bit to see them.
This year I almost forgot about carving pumpkins. The true is that we did not have money to go to a Pumpkin farm, so I explained it to my girls and we decide to go some of those city pumpkin patch. There we took some pictures and bring some pumpkins to carve.

I know, I forgot to dress them for the pictures. But who cares. I love how the pictures come out.

And here is the final result. Beeauuuuutifulllll!!!!

Hello my friends!!!
It's been a while since last post. I know, I am sorry :(
I had lost of things going on during summer and it was very hard for my to go on with all.

My sister, Carolina, was visiting me for the FIRST TIME. We had a wonderful time going around in Chicago as tourist again. We went to see all the attractions and things that we never do. It was great, but it was time consuming as well. Little by little I will be posting some pictures.

After my sister left, my mom came in. She is staying here for two months and is great to have her help and company for this time.

I had been working very hard. Lots of new design, that just now I have the time to upload and process. Here are some of them:

This is a pair of beautiful paisleys. They are made with a very soft mix of felt. The bright aqua, hot pink, gorgeous orange with a beaded detail that make them perfect for any girl.

Some beauty for Halloween too. What do you think about flowers for Halloween? I love the idea. Orange and purple felt on black velvet ribbon.

Fall color. Don't you love to see all the colors around during fall? It is the more inspiring season of all. Beautiful burgundy, sage and different shades of orange. Yum!

This is Matilde. She is an elegant black and red owl. A beautiful detail you can add to your outfits.

And the las one is just a candy eye for you.

Hi there!!! I finally have decide to post again. I needed a vacation from blogging to come up stronger. I have been working hard, making some new design and trying new things. I have lots of pictures to show, so here they go...

Like two weeks ago we were driving and found these beautiful and magical Forest Preserve. It is about 20' from home and we never hear anything about it. It has a big and peaceful lake and some magical and mysterious woods. We took a walk and of course some (lots) of pictures. I totally fall in love with it and it's going to be one of the places were we are going to spend our summer.

I finally got to have a Treasury list on Etsy. I had this idea for long time, but never get on time to do it. I am so happy that I could feature some of my colleagues from Etsy. I love all the talent and creativity that you can find there. Check it so you can enjoy it too!
We had two beautiful days here in Chicago, OVER 50, after those chilly days of winter. We got to be outside enjoying the sun and the breeze. The girls where rinding her bikes and running after being inside a winter long. As I was checking the front of my house I found that the tulips are growing. Nothing could make me happier that new flowers and grass turning green, BEAUTIFUL!!!

What I have been up to...

I have been working like crazy. I had a lot of Etsy orders to send out . Also, I had to make stock for the Ladies Night Out in my daughters school.
Here is my table at the show. The night was so cold and windy so it did not work very well. But it was a nice night to meet people and chat a little.

Today I will post some new design in my Etsy shop

And here is my adventure of yesterday. I went with Florencia for first time to a hair salon. Florencia is 5 and it was her first haircut. She was not very happy about it, as you can see in the pictures, but I need to do my nights and mornings easier.

This was her hair before cut it.

And this is now. It took a little while, but right now she is happy with her hair. I can not be happier, I love it.

Hi! How are you? What are your plans for today? Are you planning any special surprise?
I am not sure what I am going to do today. I have in mind some Valentine's cupcakes to enjoy with the girls.
The thing is that I am working, working and more working. I am having my first craft market on Saturday and I am doing hair clips and headband like crazy. Here you have a cute picture what help me to keep working....mmm... M&M ... (and pink) BEAUTIFUL!!!

Yesterday I started this challenge. It is a 5 night dinner challenge. Yesterday it was my first night and I cooked Breaded Tilapia with mashed potatoes and tomatoes. It was really yummy!

Hi! How are you guys? It's been a long time since last post. I know, I know. But the things is I had a lot of work to finish and a lot of new things to design for the next season.
At home everything is going well, just a little chilly. TOO CHILLY!!!!!!!!!
My daughter are playing nicely today :0 and my husband is playing with his new program for learning to play drums. We'll see!

Hello everyone!!! I finally get my new computer and can update when ever I want. I feel so free!!!
How are you doing with all the Christmas preparation? I have not put the tree yet!!! Can you believe it? I will try to do it during the wee. I'll post some pictures when I do it.
I have been working a lot. Thank God my Etsy shop is doing so well, but you what that means, I cut, stitch and put button all day long, all week long too. It a 1 human being company!!! ja It's O.K. I like it.
It has been snowing here in Evergreen, so it's more of a "Everwhite Park" right now.

Here is a photo of the front of my house.... It looks nice ahhh.

I have been doing a new Christmas ornaments. It is a bird and a heart. Both will hold a message one will be "LOVE" and the other "PEACE" Do you like them? They will be in my Etsy shop in a couple of days. The flowers on them are vintage. I absolutely love how they turn out.

And this make me so happy... I have been knitting again!!! It was my first love. I knit this neck cozies yesterday while I was watching "Little children" (great movie). I have to finish the details on and I'll post it again. I need a beautiful vintage big button to put on it. What do you think?
What a pleasure to knit again. I loveeeeeee it!

And this is the next project on my list. My daughter, Florencia, chooses this yarn and the color (my favorite). I will knit a poncho for her and also she wants a cozies just like mine. I'll promise to update on this too.

Hello, Hello, Hello!
Elsie Flannigan (one of my favorite artist) is asking in her blog, What do you like or enjoy doing in Autumn?

Here is my answer:

Autumn is my favorite season. I love the color, the smell, the holidays and everything that happen during it. I enjoy walking around, taking pictures of the trees and halloween decorations. I like to go to farmers markets, pumpkins patchs and craft shows.

It is the perfect time to have picnics in the parks and play with the girls.

I want to introduce myself and my family.

She is my daughter Serena and she is 9 years. She is the most loving girl but she could be a hadnful too.

This is my playing with my camera and with paint. Hope you like it!!!

Here is FLorencia. She is 5 years old and she gives me a lot of work. SHe is the most chatismatic and happy girl that I know. But of course I am her mom, what can I say.

And this is Cristian, my very funny husband.
